Inspired by ancient solar discs, spirals and the imperfect marks found in early forms of adornment, the Jua Earrings are designed to feel like something unearthed. An old talisman discovered and carried into the present.
Each disc is handmade in brass, with subtle variations and marks that make every pair unique. The organic, imperfect surface is part of their character, echoing the beauty of ancient objects shaped by hand and time.
Finished with luminous Biwa pearls, each with its own natural shape and character, they bring a softer, elemental quality to the bold sun inspired form.
Jua is part of a new chapter for Zanzi Sol. A collection of pieces exploring ancient symbols, organic forms, adornment and the feeling of discovering something with a story already held within it.
